Lincoln Park
Dartmouth, Mass. 2002

In 1999, while on a road trip down route 6 in Eastern Ma., I stumbled upon the remains of the old Lincoln Park amusement park. This park was all the rage when I was a child in the 50's and it was at its peak then. It has undergone a lot of changes, all bad since then, and has been closed since 1987. I have photographed it every summer since, and this selection of 5 prints are from the summer of 2002. All photographs were taken with a Hasselblad Xpan and a 30mm lens. The film used was Ilford HP-5 and the exhibition prints are printed on Ilford 16" X 20" multigrade paper.
